Overview

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (partially office-based)

RGP has been engaged by a global organisation within a highly regulated environment to source a Senior Financial Analyst to support its APAC Shared Services and Support operations. This 18-month contract role is based in Kuala Lumpur and provides exposure to regional finance activities within a complex, multinational organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Timely reconciliation of carve-out P&L to net cash settlements, including raising payment requests where required
  • Review of balance sheet reconciliations, supporting documentation, and analysis of monthly fluctuations
  • Support responses to auditor queries and audit deliverables
  • Assist with raising and recording VAT and non-VAT invoices
  • Monitor compliance with the Transaction Service Agreement
  • Collaborate with Consolidation and Country Finance teams to meet reporting deliverables
  • Prepare journals and other finance deliverables based on defined requirements or direction
Requirements
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience
  • Prior experience in audit and/or multinational corporate environments preferred
  • Previous reporting and financial analysis responsibilities strongly preferred
Technical Skills and Competencies
  • Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX
  • Solid GAAP knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with effective follow-up
  • Clear and professional communication skills in English
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to commit to an 18-month contract
