Senior Finance Executive (IMMEDIATE HIRING)

Job Purpose

To oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and strategic financial planning to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports – monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring of actual performance vs budget.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings, SST, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies
• Assist in financial audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings
• Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and cost control
• Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting systems, and financial policies
• Support the preparation of board papers, financial presentations, and investment proposals
• Supervise junior finance staff and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Participate in system implementation, process improvements, and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CPA/MIA qualification is an advantage
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, preferably in soft service
• Proficient in managing full sets of accounts and operational finance, including service-based progress billing, loan drawdowns for energy and maintenance projects, and cost tracking across multi-site facility operations.
• Solid knowledge of MPERS or MFRS and Malaysian tax regulations
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., IFCA, SQL, SAP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
