Job summary

Ace Gases Group in Shah Alam, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Financial Accountant to manage full-set accounts for the company and overseas subsidiaries while consolidating group results in accordance with MFRS/IFRS. You will perform month-end closings and maintain audit-ready records.

This role also covers coordinating with external auditors, assisting with corporate tax computations and SST/GST submissions, and providing budgeting and financial analysis to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant professional qualification is required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in audit.
• Experience handling full-set accounts and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounts for the company and overseas subsidiaries.
• Consolidate financial results from overseas entities and prepare group-level reports per MFRS/IFRS.
• Perform month-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation for audit and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors on annual financial audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Assist in corporate tax computation, SST/GST submissions, and liaise with tax agents.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and provide management insights.
• Work with operations, procurement, HR and management to support business activities.
