Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Finance & Accounts Manager to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and financial management functions. This role goes beyond reporting; it requires strong analytical capability, business partnering skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full set of accounts for the company
  • Review and prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Prepare and review budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections, and monitor performance against budgets
  • Analysis & Business Partnering
  • Conduct detailed financial variance and causal analysis (SG&A, COS, gross profit, sales mix, inventory)
  • Translate financial results into business insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify financial risks, improvement opportunities, and recommend proactive solutions
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to align financial analysis with business operations
  • Process Improvement & Governance
  • Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring operational procedures and systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting and filing requirements
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and statutory authorities on audit and compliance matters
  • Act as custodian of company assets and support cost control initiatives
  • Leadership & Team Management
  • Oversee the quality, consistency, and timeliness of team deliverables
  • Coach and develop team members to enhance analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Present financial results and variance analyses clearly, highlighting key impacts and recommendations
  • Perform ad hoc assignments as required by management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional qualifications (ACCA, CAT, CIMA) are an advantage
  • IFRS knowledge preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years of managerial experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret financial results from a business perspective
  • Proficiency in Excel and/or BI tools with strong presentation capability
  • High integrity, strong accountability, and a results-driven mindset
