About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our dynamic team at SINOHYDRO CORPORATION (M) SDN BHD in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a full‑time employee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting functions of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and analysing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
• Ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Reconciling accounts and maintaining detailed financial records
• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to support decision‑making
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Providing support and guidance to the finance team as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar finance executive role, preferably within the accounting and financial reporting domain
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
