Job summary

A logistics company in Subang Jaya is seeking a Finance Executive to manage all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include daily invoicing, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations, and liaising with auditors. Previous experience in finance and knowledge of accounting software is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Finance Executive is essential.
  • Knowledge in taxation and compliance with LHDN, EPF, SOCSO required.
  • Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial management and reporting for the company.
  • Handle daily invoicing and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax authorities.

Job description

1. Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting for company.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.

Daily: Perform daily invoicing, AP invoices and receipt settlement, ensure timely recording in system, closely follow up the AR collection from our partners in different countries, credit management (this is majority of the daily work >70%)

Daily: Daily monitoring of our bank accounts and prepare daily/weekly payments, need on-sight banking service in Malaysia

Monthly: payment of monthly salary, Ensure compliance with LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, and other statutory, and file to tax office.

Monthly and annual: Handle full set of the book

Monthly and annual: Preparation of annual accounts / schedules for monthly / annual consolidation

Monthly and annual: Year-end reporting, preparation of necessary schedules and liaise with auditors for year-end audit

Annual: prepare (or help in preparation) of tax computation and supporting schedules, filing of annual tax return and employee return to IRD

Others and ad hoc: Dealing with banking matters, tax matters, other government reporting matters and other office administrative matters as may be required from time to time.
