Job summary

A financial services provider in Malaysia is looking for a finance professional to support daily accounting tasks and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma or ACCA/Bachelor in Financial Analysis/Accounting, with at least 5 years of finance experience and 3 years of SAP usage. Responsibilities include handling payments, bank reconciliation, and coordination with auditors. The role offers a hybrid work model with in-person hours from Monday to Thursday and work from home on Fridays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in general finance function.
• At least 3 years of SAP experience in data entry and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support daily accounting tasks including AP, AR, and GL.
• Handle data entry, payments, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly and annual accounts and financial reports.
• Update financial forecasts and manage data in SAP.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for audits.

Job description

Support daily accounting tasks for AP, AR, and GL.

Handle data entry, payments, bank reconciliation, and journal entries.

Prepare monthly and annual accounts and financial reports.

Update forecasts and manage financial data in SAP.

Reconcile data during system integration. Collect budget data from divisions.

Prepare budget templates for review and submission based on global timelines.

Coordinate with auditors and tax agents. Provide reports to support audits and tax filings.

Prepare and update cash flow reports when required.

Improve processes through standardization and automation.

Support ad hoc finance projects and system testing.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ACCA/ Bachelor equivalent in Financial Analysis / Accounting
• At least 3 years of SAP experience in all areas: data entry, transactional, pull out report (use T‑code) and upload to OneStream system.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in general finance function.
• Team player, self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently.
• Display initiative and ability to work/interact with stakeholders in solving financial issues.

Working hours:

• Mon to Thu: in person in office
• Fri: default work from home
