Job summary

A leading private conglomerate in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Executive to join their dynamic team. This role involves assisting with full accounts preparation, managing daily accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, have 2-3 years of experience, and possess strong communication and analytical skills. The position requires flexibility during month-end and year-end closures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; pursuing professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a finance role.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with full set of accounts and management reports.
  • Manage daily accounting functions including payroll and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into the accounting system.
  • Communicate with other departments for finance-related support.

We are looking for an ambitious, dedicated and detailed‑oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic team!

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of full set of accounts and monthly management reports.
  • Responsible for daily accounting functions such as account payable and receivables, petty cash, cash flow, staff claim/commission payments, etc.
  • Perform accurate data posting for journal vouchers, payments, and receipts into the accounting system in accordance with the companies' policies and procedures.
  • Maintain proper accounting records including bank reconciliation and documents control.
  • Work closely and communicate with colleagues from other departments to obtain required information, resolve any discrepancies and provide finance related support.
  • Liaise with external auditors for annual audit, tax agents, bankers and other relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Undertake other related job as directed by immediate superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance. A certified professional or pursuing to be one (eg. ACCA, CPA or equivalent) would be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Flexible in relation to working hours, especially at month‑end and year‑end closing.
