Job summary

The role requires a diploma or degree in finance and 2-3 years of manufacturing experience, with a strong emphasis on ERP systems and Excel proficiency. You will be pivotal in cost control and stakeholder management, ensuring compliance and leading system implementations. Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English is mandatory for effective communication with clients.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant manufacturing industry experience for Finance Executive; 5-8 years for Senior Finance Executive.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems. Experience in ERP implementation is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and cost accounting principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete accounting cycle including Accounts Receivable and Payable.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and provide insightful analysis.
  • Oversee costing and inventory operations, conducting rigorous cost analysis.
  • Serve as the key contact for auditors, tax agents, and bankers.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and manage customer collections.
  • Play a key role in the implementation of our ERP system.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and undertake special projects.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated finance professional to take on a pivotal role within our accounting function. This position is responsible for the integrity of the full financial cycle, from transaction processing to strategic reporting, within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver with a strong foundation in manufacturing cost principles and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Full-Set Accounting: Manage the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Inventory accounting.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), accompanied by insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Cost & Inventory Management: Oversee all costing and inventory operations. Conduct rigorous cost analysis, prepare inventory reports, and lead periodic stock counts to ensure accuracy and optimal control.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key point of contact for external parties, including auditors, tax agents, and bankers. Professionally manage communications with clients and vendors.
  • Cash Flow & Credit Control: Perform regular bank reconciliations and proactively manage customer collections to minimize overdue payments and improve working capital.
  • System Implementation: Play a key role in the ongoing implementation and optimization of our ERP system to enhance financial processes.
  • Compliance & Projects: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, practices, and regulations. Undertake special projects and ad‑hoc tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant manufacturing industry experience for Finance Executive; 5-8 years for Senior Finance Executive.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and hands‑on experience with ERP systems. ERP implementation experience is a significant advantage.
  • Professional Expertise: Solid understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and cost accounting principles. A background in audit is highly desirable.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with all stakeholders. Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and thrive under pressure. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and possesses a strong sense of accountability.
Language

Full professional proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with our Mandarin‑speaking clients.
