Job description Reporting to the Credit Control Manager and Regional Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for the processing of invoices, receipts from customers, customer SOA reconciliations, bank reconciliations and other tasks.
Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management
- Oversee the full spectrum of AR functions including E-invoicing, proforma invoicing, debit notes, credit notes and collection
- Ensure timely issuance of invoices
- Ensure timely posting of payments received from customers into SAP
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure payments are received on time
- Send Statement of Account (SOA) to customers in a timely manner and ensure reconciliations to the SOA
- Prepare AR reports (AR aging and Forecast Collection Report)
- Back charge costs to Interco-Entities
- Manage/Custodian of Petty Cash
Accounts Payable Management
Reporting
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Post Journal entries relating to Sales accruals, COGS and Deferred cost
- Prepare AR aging report, Monthly Sales Report, Gross margin report, Bank reconciliation report
- Prepare monthly LMW Reporting-M1 Import Report, M2 Export Report and Yearly LMW Report
- Assist with external audit, LMW audit and tax queries for Income tax submission
Others
- Support ad-hoc Accounts Receivable workflow improvement projects, propose and implement process improvements
- Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent
- 5 years of regional finance experience gained from progressive multinationals with recent years in a similar role.
- Experience in LMW Reporting
- Prior exposure to trading and/or manufacturing operations.
- Team leadership experience including distributed teams across geographies.
- Strong technical accounting and reporting knowledge under IFRS.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP/EPB and/or ERP systems.
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
