Description
Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans.
- Analyse key drivers, trends, and assumptions to ensure accuracy and reliability of forecasts.
- Partner with business stakeholders to validate inputs and align financial targets with commercial strategies.
Performance Reporting & Analysis
- Produce monthly management reports covering P&L, revenue performance, gross margin, and key commercial KPIs.
- Perform variance analysis to explain business performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Prepare dashboards and insights for management meetings and business reviews.
Business Partnering
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to support commercial decision‑making.
- Evaluate promotional activities, pricing strategies, and new product initiatives through financial modelling.
- Provide analytical support for commercial negotiations, customer profitability, and margin improvement projects.
Financial Modelling & Scenario Analysis
- Develop robust financial models to assess business cases, investment proposals, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to support management decisions.
Cost & Margin Analysis
- Monitor product margins, rebates, discounts, and cost‑to‑serve metrics.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, revenue enhancement, and efficiency improvements.
Controls, Governance & Reporting Accuracy
- Ensure financial reporting aligns with accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate guidelines.
- Support month‑end closing activities related to revenue, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, data quality, and forecasting accuracy.
- Support system enhancements, BI tools implementation, and automation of reporting processes.
Ad‑hoc Support
- Prepare ad‑hoc analysis, reporting, and insights as requested by management.
- Support cross‑functional projects and strategic initiatives.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business analysis, or related field.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau), SAP, or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Experience working with sales, marketing, or commercial teams is highly preferred.
