Senior Finance Operation/Administrative Executive

This is a great opportunity to join a young and dynamic international trading company with over 10 years of experience in the global market. The office is conveniently located in KLCC, easily accessible by MRT and LRT.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing end-to-end finance/accounts operations, including trade finance, bookkeeping, AP/AR, treasury, financial reporting, budgeting, and cross-border support for entities in Malaysia and Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit & Trade Finance Management
    • Manage applications and collaborations with financial institutions and suppliers for credit facilities.
    • Prepare and coordinate documentation for trade finance and bank facility applications, including periodic engagement with bankers/financiers on company development.
    • Control and maintain customer credit terms and limits as required.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
    • Monitor the health of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in the ERP system, in close collaboration with the Supply Chain team.
    • Process customer refund transactions in a timely manner.
    • Manage and oversee customer payments directly or through factoring, financiers, or on-hold 3PL logistics partners.
    • Handle claims for rebates, credit notes, and refunds, and follow up with suppliers accordingly.
    • Ensure accurate and timely remittance of payments to suppliers.
    • Manage recurring/standing payments such as credit cards, utilities, rentals, etc.
  • Financial Planning, Reporting & Cashflow Management
    • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including preparation of financial projections for senior management.
    • Prepare and consistently update cashflow reports as required.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Ensure proper filing of all company documents in a timely manner for submission to external authorities when necessary.
    • Complete required financial-related application forms for company needs.
    • Coordinate effectively with other departments on finance and accounting matters.
  • General & Operational Support
    • Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by management related to finance or operations.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance/Account/Audit.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Highly skilled in Excel Sheet.
  • Training provided for usage of company ERP with generate Financial Report for work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously learn, and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong cross-department collaboration skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
