A leading technology company is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineer to analyze disk failures using advanced microscopy equipment. You will be responsible for interpreting analysis results, leading discussions on defects, and implementing corrective actions to enhance yield performance. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering, have significant hands-on experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Analyze reject disks using microscopes and advanced equipment (AFM, SEM EDX, Wyko, Zygo, OSA) to identify and classify defects.
Interpret defect analysis results, including SEM EDX data, and compile failure analysis reports.
Lead discussions with process owners on defect issues and work to address unknown defects.
Track and monitor yield performance using EIS and Spotfire, including viewing iris mapping and disk quality performance (KPOV).
Coordinate with FA Tech to ensure correct reject disks are pulled for analysis.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve defect rates.
Qualification :
Degree Holder from any Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
Requirement:
Min 3 year(s) working experience in Failure Analysis environment will be an added advantage.
Skills:
Fundamentals of Engineering: Understanding of core engineering principles and concepts relevant to the specific engineering discipline.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
Hands-On Experience: Experience with laboratory work (Optical Microscope, Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM), OSA, Zygo, project-based learning, or internships that provide practical application of engineering concepts).
Project Management: Basic skills in managing projects, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas and collaborate.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, contributing to group projects and discussions.
Adaptability: Flexibility to learn new concepts and technologies and adapt to changing work environments.
Curiosity and Initiative: A desire to learn and take initiative in seeking knowledge and opportunities for growth.
