Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Associate for DRSC Audit – External Audit in Malaysia. Join a team of audit professionals in the SEA Audit & Assurance Division to deliver high-quality services to diverse clients across Southeast Asia.

You will supervise staff, perform analytical reviews and substantive testing, and own deliverables while upholding audit methodology and risk assessment standards. The role emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant audit experience in a professional services firm, preferably from a Big 10 accounting firms in Malaysia
• Strong understanding of audit methodology, risk assessment, and substantive procedures
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a virtual work environment
• Ability to coach and guide junior staff
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of audit professionals within the SEA Audit & Assurance Division across SEA.
• Provide audit services to a portfolio of diversified clients comprising public listed companies, MNCs, local conglomerates and SMEs across Southeast Asia.
• Supervise and review the work of associates to ensure compliance with audit methodology and quality standards
• Execute assigned audit procedures including analytical reviews, substantive testing, and documentation
• Manage own workstream efficiently and take ownership of deliverables.
