Position: Senior/Exec System Analyst
Company: GLC
Working Location: KL Sentral
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 5.30pm)
Salary: 5,000 to 12,000 (based on experience)

Must-have requirements

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Additional certification in software testing or quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5–10 years (Senior System Analyst) / 3–5 years (System Analyst) of relevant experience in system analysis, software testing, or quality assurance.
• Hands‑on experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Prior involvement in ICT projects with independent verification and validation responsibilities preferred.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with documentation standards (URS, FRS/SRS, RTM) and static analysis techniques.

Job Purpose

• Review, verify, and validate key project deliverables including User Requirement Specification (URS), Functional Requirement Specification (FRS)/ System Requirement Specification (SRS) and Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Perform static analysis to ensure completeness, clarity, accuracy, traceability, and compliance with standards.
• Review and validate vendor-prepared SIT and UAT test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts to ensure full coverage against requirements.
• Execute independent SIT and UAT test cases based on approved vendor test scenarios and scripts.
• Validate vendor test execution and results, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and traceability to requirements.
• Verify closure of critical and major defects and perform independent retesting where required to confirm resolution.
