Job summary

Job description
Senior Executive, Share Margin Financing (SMF) Credit

Process and evaluate margin (Share Margin Financing and Personal Financing) and non margin applications.

Evaluate and assign collateral capping (i.e shares, wealth, property) for SMF /PF margin accounts.

Providing credit support to all Share Trading Centres (STC) and Account Relationship Managers.

Manage, guide and train the support team members to achieve the turnaround time (TAT) and meet policy guidelines.

Ensure that SMF/PF new application(s) and credit renewal submitted meet the Bank's risk acceptance criteria, SMF and PF credit policy, approving matrix, AMLA framework and BNM guidelines requirement.

Analyze SMF/PF application(s) and subsequently prepare credit write‑up, recommend for loan approval.

Perform review and renew all SMF/PF margin accounts.

Continuously work on streamlining work processes to improve TAT.

Handling CCRIS reporting enquiries – lodge new application and update application status.

Handling CTOS checks.

Prepare weekly and monthly reports for submission to the management.

Attend queries/request and provide guidance to STC, ARM and Retail Broking Investment Lending on all matters related to SMF/PF.

Conduct property valuation for property pledged as collateral.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in credit processing on retail (secured and unsecured products) or non-retail portfolio.
  • AICB Certificate in Credit holder – an added advantage.
  • Basic understanding of equity markets and margin financing mechanics.
  • Good knowledge of credit applications, processing and evaluation.
  • Experience and knowledge in stock banking is an advantage.
