Job summary
A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support its Integrated Management System and food safety compliance. Responsibilities include performing quality validations, reviewing documentation, and coordinating audits. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, has 3-4 years of relevant experience, and possesses good interpersonal skills. This role is critical for ensuring the safety and legality of products.
Qualifications
- At least 3-4 years of QA experience in Food Manufacturing industry.
- Familiar with regulatory documentation and procedures.

- Support and maintain company’s Integrated Management System.
- Perform quality & food safety validation and verification.
- Review and update FSMS documentation.
- Coordinate with departments for audit actions.
- Analyze overall performance related to quality & food safety.

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology
- To work closely with other related departments in supporting and maintaining company’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and Halal requirements to achieve the company’s Quality & Food Safety Policy and Objectives.
- To perform quality & food safety validation and verification as per planned schedule and tests, including verification during approval process.
- To review and update FSMS documentation, Quality Plan procedure and other supporting documents as and when required to ensure safety, legality and quality of all materials and finished products.
- To review weekly and monthly report submitted by QA team and communicate the quality and food safety issues to Director of Operation / General Manager / Factory Manager / Group QA Manager.
- To coordinate with other related departments to ensure follow up audit actions are implemented effectively.
- To periodically assist a mock recall and traceability to verify the effectiveness of established system and troubleshoot once deviation occurs.
- To analyse overall performance related to quality & food safety and submit report to superior.
- To propose & recommend improvement plans as part of continual improvement process where applicable.
- To perform investigation and coordinate on the CAPA for customer complaint.
- To verify and monitor the effectiveness of implemented CAPA.
- To involve in periodic GMP audit
- To involve in regulatory (eg; FSSC, MOH, JAKIM), certification body (eg; SGS), visitors and customer audits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Technology, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum 3-4 years QA experiences in Food Manufacturing industry.
- Familiar with regulatory documentation and procedure.
- Good interpersonal skill and able to communicate with different level of people.
