A higher education institution in Negeri Sembilan seeks a Public Relations Executive to enhance brand visibility through strategic communications and media engagement. The role involves leading PR projects and managing communication activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 2-3 years of experience, and outstanding communication skills in English. As a Public Relations Executive at INTI International University & Colleges, you will enhance INTI’s brand visibility through strategic communications, media engagement, and impactful PR initiatives. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver campaigns, manage press content, and support events that strengthen the university’s reputation across all platforms.
Support the team to develop and implement the Public Relations (PR) strategy and plan organization wide.
Lead various corporate PR projects to ensure successful completion according to budget.
Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, in order to support them in their communication needs effectively.
Coordinate business relationships and collaborate with vendors and service suppliers, including PR and events agencies, to ensure the smooth running and success of projects and campaigns.
Manage communication activities related to the media, actively creating and publishing press content to generate brand awareness.
Develop PR materials such as newsletters, case studies, speeches, articles, press releases in versions of English and Mandarin/Bahasa Malaysia.
Ensure translated content conveys original meaning, context and tone. Use highly specialised translation tools for additional assistance with translation.
Lead media events including press conferences and press tours.
Provide support to campuses on events and activities to create awareness, publicity and garner coverage for major campus events.
Provide input and advice on message development and events planning where necessary to the relevant stakeholders.
Ensure messages developed is consistent to reflect the organisation brand name.
Any other tasks and responsibilities, which relate to PR that are assigned by superior.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional qualification in relevant academic area.
At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply for Junior position.
Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral in English with the ability to communicate and adapt to different communication styles at all levels. Ability in another language will be an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and analytical skills that enable collaboration and team building.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain focused.
