Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the overall sourcing of the company’s all packaging materials, supplies, consumables and 3rd parties’ services.
• Provide sourcing support for business development, office equipment and parts, and merchandise and premiums / gifts for business activities.
• Regularly look out for competitive quotations and perform price and terms negotiations to always ensure competitive deals without compromising product/service qualities.
• Initiate, monitor and manage purchasing and supply activities until successful completion within the timeline stipulated. For below par service or product quality, ensure follow‑up actions are carried out.
• Maintain and keep records updated, which cover but are not limited to packaging, labels, stationery and parts. Ensure healthy stock levels and prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
• Meet the company’s expectations and policies in ensuring there are no supply disruptions and always have alternatives by having a panel of suppliers supplying similar products or services.
• Develop, seek approval for and always maintain systematic purchasing plans, and ensure consistent and quality implementation of those plans.
• Regularly update on purchasing status, highlighting issues and providing solutions to challenges for the Management.
• Provide periodic reporting to the Management.
• Be part of the team participating in team projects for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

• Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations or other relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Procurement.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage for supplier communications.
• Basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• A fast and continuous learner, especially in this fast‑changing technology‑driven start‑up environment.
• Ability to prioritise and perform effectively under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Good computer literacy.
• Strong integrity, commitment and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
