Job description

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including issue PO, stock in and stock out in system.

Ensure timely delivery of raw material to meet production requirement.

Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or delays.

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value in terms of cost and quality.

Monitor market trends, pricing, and new suppliers.

Continuously identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency.

Monitor and analyse procurement spend and prepare regular reports.

Coordinate and participate in stock take exercise by annual.

Support inventory audit and ensure proper documentation.

Investigate and report raw material variances, discrepancies or wastage lost.

Coordinate with design team to source materials for sample bag development.

Ensure timely delivery of sample bag to meet R&D and seasonal launch timelines.

Work closely with factories to test new materials for quality and cost feasibility.

Maintain records of R&D materials, samples, and costing.

Support prototype approval, amendment and improvement based on design and functional requirement.

Perform other ad hoc assignment and tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

Candidates must possess Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain or any related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in comprehensive logistics / supply chain procedures and knowledge / procurement environment.

Advance proficiency in Excel and computer savvy.

Dynamic, self-motivated, initiative and able to communicate effectively with all levels and external parties.

A team player, proactive, independent and able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
