Job Summary

Lead and manage shift-based profiling teams to ensure efficient and accurate profiling based on tip-offs. Provide strategic advisory on profiling methods, update management on operational results, and manage key stakeholders relevant to tip-off cases.

Job Responsibilities

1) Shift Team Management

  • Oversee and coordinate the performance of shift teams conducting tip-off profiling.
  • Ensure 24/7 operational coverage through effective shift planning.

2) Profiling Advisory and Quality Assurance

  • Provide advisory and guidance to analysts on profiling techniques and strategies.
  • Review and validate profiling reports for accuracy and completeness.

3) Operational Reporting and Management Updates

  • Consolidate and present operational updates to senior management.
  • Highlight critical findings, operational challenges, and recommendations.

4) Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison with internal investigation units and external stakeholders related to tip-off cases.
  • Ensure timely communication and alignment with key stakeholders including LEA, NACSA, MKN, and Telcos.

5) Process Improvement

  • Identify areas for enhancement in profiling operations and propose solutions for continuous improvement.

6) Technology Utilization and Recommendation

  • Recommend tools and methodologies to improve profiling accuracy and efficiency.

7) Shift Operations Supervision

  • Supervise adherence to the shift schedule.
  • Ensure smooth handovers and documentation between shifts.

8) Assist Head of Department and Director 2 in planning and tracking system development schedules, milestones, and task lists.

9) Contribute to cross-unit improvement initiatives and innovation proposals for internal tools.

Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, Criminology, or relevant discipline from a reputable university with a minimum of CGPA 3.00
Work Experience
  • Proven experience managing teams and handling operational reporting.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and OSINT methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness and ability to supervise operations on a rotational shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Technical Competencies/ Skills
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency in navigating and utilizing various social media platforms, understanding their features, functionalities, and privacy settings.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytical techniques to process and analyze vast amounts of social media data, extract meaningful insights, and identify patterns.
  • Expertise in leveraging open-source intelligence methodologies to gather information from publicly available online sources, enhancing investigative capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to and quickly learn new technologies and tools relevant to social media investigation, staying abreast of industry advancements.
  • Proficient in preparing clear, concise, and detailed reports summarizing findings from social media investigations for legal and MCMC's purposes.
  • Knowledge of proper protocols for handling and preserving digital evidence obtained from social media platforms, ensuring its admissibility in legal proceedings.
  • Basic programming and scripting skills, enabling the customization and automation of processes in social media analysis, if applicable.
