Overseeing cybersecurity, information security, and IT risk management programs aligned with risk management frameworks and industry‑accepted information security standards. As a core member of the Information Technology team, this individual will lead efforts to improve and communicate the organization’s information security maturity, strengthen cybersecurity posture, and enhance IT risk practices across all functions. This role requires collaboration across departments to embed security best practices, support compliance, and ensure continuous improvement in the organization’s security and risk management initiatives.
Information and Data Security: Design, analyze and implement an efficient IT Security System. Monitor endpoint security networks for security issues. Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents. Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs. Proactively hunt for and validate potential threats and incidents. Safeguard system security and improve overall server and network efficiency by training users and promoting security awareness.
Vulnerability Assessment Management: Work directly with customers and other internal departments and organizations to facilitate IT risk analysis and risk management processes to identify acceptable level of residual risk. Review risk assessment analytic the effectiveness of IT control activities, and report on them with actionable recommendations. Evaluate security risk and identify and define compliance strategies in accordance with policies and standards. Communicate with multiple departments and levels of management to resolve technical and procedural IT Security risks. Develop remediation strategies to mitigate risk associated with the protection of infrastructure and information assets.
IT Security Support: Provide second and third level support, communicate with the user for an in‑depth analysis and provide solution for a wide variety of technical problems. Troubleshoot and evaluate server site technical problem.
IT Security Research and Development: Research, study, and evaluate new information security technology to meet business requirements. Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management. Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards.
At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
Knowledge of networking systems and Microsoft Windows.
Good knowledge of troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a team to ensure successful completion of tasks/projects.
Proactive and self‑motivated.
Honest, disciplined, and independent.
