Job summary

A leading organization in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resources Executive to manage the payroll process and ensure compliance with HR regulations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in human resource management and at least 5 years of relevant experience. You will also support the HR team, develop policies, and use your strong communication skills to liaise with department heads. This position offers a dynamic work environment in Sarawak, Malaysia.

Job description

To process and manage full spectrum of monthly payroll for the group of companies.

To ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements related to payroll, including tax laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDCorp and other relevant regulations.

To reconcile monthly payroll transactions and resolve any discrepancies.

To prepare monthly payroll reports for management and finance department.

Responsible to prepare annual EA and Form E accurately and to ensure on time submission.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, including periodical update of employee handbook.

Administer the group medical and insurance claims.

Monitoring and coordinating employee Performance Improvement Plan.

Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and create job descriptions.

Mentor and guide junior HR team members, providing support and fostering professional growth.

Accomplish work related activities or tasks assigned by superior as needed.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or its equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Human Resource, especially in payroll.

Experience in using HRIS system, proficient in overall compensation and benefits matters.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for the preparation of reports.

Meticulous, detailed, well organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good leadership skills and a team player with positive attitude, leadership by example.
