JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Executive, Freighter Management (Operations) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily freighter operations to ensure smooth execution and optimal performance. The role works closely with operations control, load control, ground handling, cargo sales, and network planning teams to maximize space utilization, maintain schedule integrity, and achieve revenue targets. This position also tracks key performance metrics such as load factor, OTP, uplift, and revenue per flight and proactively manages operational disruptions, charter requests, and aircraft availability to support efficient and profitable freighter operations.

Job Responsibilities
- Flight Planning & Coordination Plan and monitor freighter schedules, ensuring alignment with operational and commercial objectives. Coordinate with operations control, load control, and ground handling teams for smooth flight execution. Monitor flight loads, uplift, and turnaround performance to ensure schedule integrity
- Capacity & Revenue Management Work closely with the cargo sales and network planning teams to optimize space utilization. Analyze load factors, yield, and capacity deployment to maximize profitability. Support charter and ad-hoc freighter operations, ensuring commercial and operational feasibility
- Operational Performance Track daily freighter performance and address operational disruptions proactively. Prepare reports on performance metrics such as OTP (On-Time Performance), load factor, and revenue per flight. Coordinate with maintenance and flight operations for aircraft availability and schedule adjustments
Requirements
- Experience & Background
- Minimum 2-4 years in cargo operations, flight planning, freighter management, or airline operations.
- Experience working with ground handling, load control, or operations control teams.
- Familiar with freighter or wide-body aircraft operations (advantage).
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of load factor, yield, capacity planning, and space optimization.
- Ability to interpret operational data (OTP, uplift, turnaround time, revenue per flight).
- Proficient in using airline operation systems and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for reporting.
- Ability to analyze flight performance to support decision-making.
- Soft Skills
- Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operational environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially with disruptions or last-minute changes
