Senior Executive/ Executive, Sales & Business Development
REN Wellness Retreat (by ERMS Berhad - a subsidiary of IJM Land) is a one-of-a-kind integrated Hospitality, Health and Wellness destination anchored Traditional & Complementary Medicine aiming to enrich people’s lives in every way. Responsibilities
Your Role: Responsible for driving sales growth, driving new business, managing client relationships with passion and exceptional service, to achieve team targets and to support the overall growth for REN Wellness Retreat.
- Conduct presentations, sales calls, and product/ service explanations.
- Convert enquiries and leads into confirmed bookings or sales.
- Present relevant packages, memberships, and solutions to customers (B2B/ B2C).
- Meet assigned sales targets (monthly/quarterly) and contribute to team goals.
2. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, wellness, medical tourism, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, strategic outreach, and partnerships.
- Conduct business assessments to understand client needs and develop customized program solutions, packages, or service bundles.
- Contribute to product/ service development by sharing market insights and customer feedback with management.
3. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional customer service during all touchpoints including enquiries, visits, onboarding, and after-sales engagement.
- Build long-term relationships with high-value clients, corporate partners, and referral networks.
- Manage client expectations professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
- Support retention strategies, including renewal programs, membership upgrades, and referral initiatives.
4. Market Presence & Brand Promotion
- Represent REN Wellness Retreat at industry events, trade shows, roadshows, seminars, online campaigns, and networking sessions.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team on campaigns, content ideas, promotions, and sales tools.
- Support brand awareness efforts by providing strong sales narratives, testimonials, and case studies.
5. Operation, Process & Compliance
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate execution of bookings, experiences, and customer programs.
- Ensure adherence to sales SOPs including contract preparation, customer consent, quotation, invoicing, payment collection, and CRM updates.
- Prepare necessary sales materials such as proposals, brochures, product info, and product decks.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management to support company growth and operational success.
Requirements
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Manage [typo?] Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing, Wellness, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably in wellness, medical aesthetics, hospitality, leisure, or related industries.
- Comfortable with occasional travel for work-related activities.
- Able to support business needs during weekends or extended hours when necessary.
- Dedicated to upholding high service standards in line with REN Wellness’ expectations.
Skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills—both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with talent for building rapport and nurturing relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and convert leads into revenue.
- Resourceful, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with wellness concepts, holistic health, hospitality, leisure or retreat industries is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally when required.
- Available to work weekends or outside normal hours during events or peak sales periods.
