Job summary

MindMerge Consulting seeks a Senior Executive Engineer Cloud Security in Petaling Jaya to design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure and services, implementing cloud security controls and supporting secure cloud adoption.

You will review IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudTrail and GuardDuty; establish security architecture and guardrails; perform risk assessments and posture reviews; monitor for threats and collaborate with engineering teams to meet compliance and audit requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of hands-on cloud security experience.
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services and best practices.
• Experience in risk assessments and security posture reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls across AWS environments.
• Review and secure AWS services, IAM, EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
• Establish and maintain cloud security architecture, standards, guardrails, and best practices.

• Support security incident investigations involving cloud resources and workloads.

Role Overview: Secure cloud infrastructureand services by implementing cloud security controls and supporting securecloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls across AWS environments.
• Review and secure AWS services, including IAM, EC2, VPC, S3,RDS, EKS, Lambda, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
• Establish and maintain cloud security architecture, standards, guardrails,and best practices.
• Perform cloud security risk assessments, configuration reviews,and security posture evaluations.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, suspiciousactivities, and configuration drifts.
• Support security incident investigations involving cloudresources and workloads.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure clouddeployments and compliance requirements are met.
• Support regulatory audits, cloud security assessments, andthird-party security reviews.
