QL Kitchen Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to develop and maintain cost accounting systems for the manufacturing unit, and to monitor all production costs.

You will conduct variance analysis, assist budgeting, inventory control, and ensure reporting compliance, with opportunities to influence pricing strategies and cost-reduction initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and processes for the manufacturing unit.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budgeted costs) and recommend cost-control measures.
• Assist in setting product pricing strategies by evaluating cost structures and market conditions.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor cost trends and provide insights for financial planning and decision-making.
• Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying areas of improvement in production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventory.
• Ensure proper allocation of costs to products and identify wastage or inefficiencies.
• Conduct regular stock reconciliations and participate in physical inventory counts
• Prepare cost reports and financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant cost data and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to costing and financial reporting.
