SENIOR EXECUTIVE/ASSISTANT MANAGER, ENERGY & SUSTAINABILITY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Energy & Sustainability to join our dynamic team at Sedania Innovator Berhad. In this full‑time role based in Kelana Jaya, Selangor, you will play a crucial part in driving our energy and sustainability initiatives as we work towards a greener future.

What you’ll be doing

Provide counsel to the Legal Department on business information and concerns during agreement drafting, ensuring risks are mitigated prior to finalizing contracts with potential clients or vendors.

Forecast annual budgets for capital expenditure (CAPEX) and operational expenditure (OPEX) to guarantee timely delivery of energy efficiency projects.

Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to drive successful sustainability initiatives.

Assess the financial viability and potential liabilities of energy and sustainability projects identified by the Business Development team, and present findings to the Management Committee for informed decision‑making.

Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and events related to green and sustainable technologies.

Conduct technical site visits to evaluate feasibility for reducing client carbon emissions and propose tailored solutions to achieve emission reduction targets.

Oversee TM EPC projects, ensuring smooth operations and timely revenue claims.

Lead and support Green Building initiatives for clients, including:

• Performing GAP Analysis to identify compliance gaps against recognized green building standards (GBI, GreenRE, MyCREST, LEED).
• Advising on strategies to enhance building sustainability performance and certification readiness.

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a university recognized by MQA.

Proficient in reading and interpreting Electrical Single Line Drawings, with proven experience in preparing comprehensive technical sports.

Possession of at least one recognized competency certification in green building (GBI, GreenRE, MyCREST, or LEED) will be considered an added advantage.

Has foundational experience in energy efficiency and energy management system.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing Energy Performance Contract projects, with strong knowledge of HVAC systems.

Strong proficiency in performing technical and financial calculations related to investment projects (e.g., ROI, SPP, etc.).

Demonstrates strong knowledge and proficiency in facility management and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems within commercial buildings.
