Job summary

Ramboll Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Senior Environmental Sustainable Design Engineer to lead the ESD agenda within our Buildings team in APAC. You will drive high-performance, low-carbon design strategies and coordinate multi-disciplinary projects across Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor9s or Master9s degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sustainable design, environmental engineering, or building performance analysis.
• Experience in the Malaysian construction industry and regional projects is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of green building systems and low-carbon design strategies.
• Ability to translate sustainability strategies into practical design recommendations for clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership to develop plans and growth goals for Rambolls ESD business in Malaysia and region.
• Lead business development, client networking, bid submissions, and fee negotiations.
• Provide technical leadership for ESD projects from concept to completion, including energy modelling and climate-responsive design.
