A leading electronics manufacturing company in Seberang Perai is seeking an Equipment Engineer to oversee SMT process development and optimization. Responsibilities include debugging equipment during new product introductions, maintenance, and programming of SMT lines. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and knowledge in equipment management and optimization strategies, ensuring efficient operation in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsible for the production of furnace temperature plate and the debugging of equipment parameters during the introduction of new products in the wave soldering process.
Carry out the repair and maintenance of SMT equipment operation in accordance with TPM requirements.
Responsible for the preparation of operation guidelines and inspection forms for equipment and tools. Attrition SMT Downtime
Responsible for the maintenance, programming and debugging of peripheral equipment, forming machines and fixtures.
Responsible for the collection of spare parts model and specification information of each equipment in the back end section.
Responsible for the risk assessment of equipment and line body when the layout of the workshop is adjusted.
Responsible for PM maintenance planning of various equipment, lines and tools.
Put forward the improvement proposal of replacing labor with equipment and promote the implementation.
Universal modification of equipment and tooling tools, rapid line changeover and improvement planning and implementation to meet the requirements of small batch and multiple varieties.
Promote cost down activity.
Management of safety and fire safety related affairs.
Job Requirements:
SMT Process Development & Optimization
Setting up SMT lines (e.g., screen printers, Laser pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens).
Creating and optimizing reflow oven profiles.
Developing and tuning solder paste printing processes.
Analyzing and improving first-pass yield, line efficiency, and throughput.
Experience with machines from Fuji (NXT), ASM, Parmi (AOI,SPI), MPM, XRay etc.
Programming of SMT equipment (e.g., feeders, nozzles, vision systems).
Troubleshoot the root cause & apply precise corrective action to the issue
