Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

High-level IT personnel, responsible for designing and installing computer hardware and configurations, managing network systems and training staff on correct operating procedures. This position will assist the IT manager in identifying and implementing protocols to address all system needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the Company’s network systems (Emails, Documents Management, Website, Servers, WAN/LAN etc.) maintain 100% uptime. This includes managing and supporting Active Directory services.
• Implement and maintain security measures, monitor and analyze firewall logs, implement security policies. Ensure that all security policies are being maintained.
• Respond to IT service requests and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, IT policies and procedures.
• Manage IT inventory, asset tracking report and security enhancement.
• Possess or research basic programming skills e.g. SQL to support sales and operations in automating tasks and develop scripts/tools for system management.
• Ability to handle and communicate with China and US pertaining to system operation, security protocols, network administration, and ERP software application issues.
• Well versed and experienced in handling ERP software applications (preferably Epicor) to understand/solve problems in a variety of functional modules to include report writing, error resolution, and process improvements.
• Programming capability to develop any E‑system for process efficiency is an added advantage.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
• Very good knowledge and experience in design and implementation of network, especially in WAN/LAN, VLAN.
• Good knowledge in all MS services/servers, hardware installment and technical services and support in all areas.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Engineer or in a similar role.
• CCNA/MCSE is plus.
