Job summary

MISC Group is seeking a Senior Engineer, HSSE to support the implementation of the HSSE Management System across offshore operations. The role concentrates on operational assurance, risk management, compliance, process safety and continuous improvement.

Key duties include endorsing HSSE plans, guiding on-site operations, leading risk assessments, and monitoring performance through audits and data analysis. The position requires strong analytical and stakeholder-engagement skills and offers

Qualifications

• Experience with offshore HSSE operations and management systems.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessment and Management of Change.

• Review and endorse operations-specific HSSE plans and procedures.
• Provide HSSE guidance during offshore operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safe work practices.
• Lead or support HSSE risk assessments, HAZID, HAZOP and Management of Change activities.
• Monitor HSSE performance through data analysis, audits, inspections and compliance checks.
• Support Process Safety Management and review related controls.
• Conduct contractor and JV assurance activities, internal audits and HSSE visits.
• Track non-compliance close-out actions and promote HSSE campaigns and awareness programmes.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENT

• Practical knowledge of offshore HSSE operations and management systems.


• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, HAZID, HAZOP, risk assessment, Management of Change and Process Safety Management.


• Experience with HSSE audits, inspections, compliance monitoring and contractor assurance.


• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-engagement skills.
