Job summary

Axonect in Kuala Lumpur seeks a senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms powering analytics, AI, and business insights.

You will integrate data from multiple sources, enforce data quality and governance, optimize performance, and collaborate with data science and BI teams to deliver trusted datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data engineering, data science or related field
• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or data platform development
• Hands-on with scalable data pipelines, platforms, and integration solutions
• Strong SQL and Python skills; familiarity with data tooling
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, APIs, streaming, and workflow automation
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and security best practices
• Ability to deliver analytics-ready datasets for BI/AI
