Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical installation, connection, wiring, and testing of machine- and/or equipment for new or existing machines and/or equipment.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex electrical malfunctions and breakdowns.
• Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective electrical maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Ensure all electrical operations meet high-quality standards and comply with customer specifications and local regulations.
• Utilize and interpret electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for planning and execution.
• Perform electrical testing, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and functional checks.
• Support KLOSE core activities such as rigging, moving and lifting activities and any other tasks requested by the supervisor.
• Operate heavy industrial equipment like forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, etc. (only if certified).
• Follow customer rules & regulations to prevent hazards, avoid accidents, and injuries (e.g., permit-to-work).
• Identify, report and eliminate unsafe conditions and/or unsafe actions as well as incidents.
• Conduct all work according to safety requirements (e.g., Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Test Before Touch) and wear the required PPE.
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and job safety analysis before commencing work.
• Perform 5S and regular maintenance of machines, equipment, and the workplace, including minor repairs and refurbishments in the warehouse to keep everything clean and in good working order.
• Conduct daily housekeeping, cleaning work, and basic maintenance at customer sites and facilities.
• Make suitable written records of all works carried out, in accordance with company procedures.
• Keep honest and accurate records of hours consumed to perform the assigned tasks.
• Participate in frequent skills and safety trainings to improve personal capability and project outcomes.
• Travel nationally and internationally for extended periods as required by the position.
• Protect the organization’s core values and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform any other project-related ad-hoc duties, e.g., supporting other team members.
• Comply with ISO 9001: Quality Management System and ISO 45001: Occupational Health & Safety Management requirements.
