Job summary

Cundall in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Electrical Power Systems Engineer to join our Malaysia team. The role focuses on the design of HV/MV distribution for data centres and large-scale projects, using ETAP and SKM-PTW High for analyses.

You will collaborate across disciplines and produce detailed power system reports. Ideal candidates have HV design experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-growing regional centre.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering with power systems specialization.
• Experience in detailed coordination with other design disciplines and electrical theory.
• Proven ability to produce schematic diagrams, fault studies, and project reports.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for client and internal collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering designs, calculations, and specifications with technical software.
• Model power networks and run advanced power system studies using ETAP / SKM-PTW High.
• Coordinate input from other disciplines and prepare technical reports.
• Supervise and coordinate production of technical drawings and site visits.
• Attend project meetings and ensure compliance with QA, safety procedures.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and Chartership where applicable.
