Senior Electrical Engineer, Renewable Energy

Develop engineering drawings and documentation for bid which includes capacity proposal, PV layout design, engineering simulation, PVSyst or similar, and electrical drawing

Prepare documentation including Bill of Quantities, Technical Specification, Schedule of Technical date, catalogue compilation and other details to complete tender required documents

Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors on the requirements, contractual and technical matter

Liaise with manufacturer or supplier on quotation, technical information and others

Conduct preliminary site survey along with Sales teams and develop report

Complete technical & commercial offer preparation and provide technical support to Sales team

Generate construction/ shop drawing, electrical diagram, cable list and engineering simulation

Provide engineering calculations and technical advice for project team

Site supervision, testing & commissioning when required

Analysis of costs and sales, and prepare relevant reports to management

Continues research of new or suitable technology in RE for business implementation

Any other extended assignments given to you by your superior from time to time under RE business eg. hydrogen electrification business and sub-station engineering

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 5 years in electrical design or project engineering with at least 3 years in solar PV and/or BESS project

Strong understanding on grid-connected, off-grid solar/ BESS system, hybrid system or microgrid applications and protection coordination

Familiar with IEC, IEEE and local utility standard. Familiarization with SEDA and ST requirements will be of added value

Proficient in MS Office tools, AutoCAD and PVSyst

Excellent communication, coordination, problem solving skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously
