Job summary

Technip Energies in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a TS - Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical discipline activities on onshore and offshore projects. The role requires a strong background in electrical design, team leadership, and cross-function collaboration to deliver milestones.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience, and ideally a PE/PEPC. Willingness to travel and be stationed at project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering design experience for onshore/offshore projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) with PEPC is advantageous for lead roles.
• Willingness to travel and be stationed at various sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical discipline activities and manage the project team to meet milestones.
• Review specifications, data sheets, P&IDs, and drawings for quality and conformance.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Piping, Process, Civil, Structural, Instrumentation) to resolve issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure safety, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements are met.
