A leading engineering firm in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in HV cables to join their team. The position involves providing technical expertise for impactful energy projects, preparing design specifications, and performing quality control reviews. Candidates should have a Master's degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of work experience, preferably with HV Cable OEM design for utilities. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, and familiarity with CYMCAP or similar tools is highly desirable.

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful Energy projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high‑performing team.
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high‑quality cost‑effective work by others.
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package.
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
Prepares technical specification sections.
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
