Job summary

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) invites applications for the role of Senior Electrical Engineer to support and design electrical systems for our data center operations in Malaysia. The successful candidate will work under the Technical Manager, providing SME-level expertise for electrical design, implementation and maintenance that ensures reliable data center performance.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Ability to articulate and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel/Word and asset management systems (BMS, CMMS/DCIM).

Responsibilities

• Manage HT/LT electrical system maintenance to reduce operational risk.
• Ensure Data Centre compliance with legislation and safety standards.
• Develop SOPs, EOPs, and MOPs for critical facility equipment.
• Lead change management and ensure timely close of requests.
• Lead incident investigations and report to Senior Management.
• Perform RCA to improve uptime and efficiency of critical equipment.
• Trend data in the BMS/DCIM systems for reliability improvements.
• Support Green Mark Certification requirements for electrical systems.
• Coordinate training and knowledge sharing among on-site electrical engineers.
• Assist with major activities like annual shutdowns and battery replacements.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures with operations and vendors.
• Propose cost-saving measures and present benefits to management.
• Review and approve PTW, MOS and RA documents.
