Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all electrical engineering activities for upstream Oil & Gas projects, including design, development, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with industry standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver project goals within time and budget constraints.
  • Provide technical expertise in electrical systems, including power distribution, motor control, lighting, grounding, and hazardous area classification.
  • Implement and support Asset Management and Reliability Programs related to electrical systems, including SCE, PS, ECA, FMEA, BAM, and ERS.
  • Conduct risk assessments, failure analysis, and electrical reliability studies to improve performance and reduce downtime.
  • Support the preparation and review of electrical engineering documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure all activities comply with HSE standards and project-specific safety requirements.
  • Perform offshore assignments when required, ensuring safe and effective execution of electrical engineering tasks.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas upstream sector, with at least 4 years in a senior electrical engineering role.
  • In-depth knowledge of upstream oil & gas processes, electrical maintenance, and operations.
  • Experience with Asset and Reliability Management systems, including SCE, PS, ECA, FMEA, BAM, and ERS.
  • Familiarity with offshore electrical systems and regulatory standards.
