Job Title: Snr Electrical Engineer - Electrical, High Rise and Complex, Singapore and Malaysia

We seek an experienced Electrical System professional to design electrical systems for projects in coordination with Architects and structural consultants across all stages, from concept to construction. Department: Buildings

As a Snr Engineer in our Buildings Department, you'll be part of our high-rise team, which has designed over 150 tall buildings worldwide, including complex projects. You will coordinate with project managers and engineers across our offices in India, Copenhagen, Dubai, and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical systems for building projects, including MV and LV power, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, ICT, security, and other ELV systems, from concept to tender.
  • Review design deliverables and support technical evaluations.
  • Prepare load estimations and coordinate with other disciplines and third parties.
  • Assist in space planning and preliminary calculations during concept design.
  • Collaborate with remote teams to ensure local compliance and standards.
  • Support local authority approvals and provide technical guidance.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
  • Manage workload and project timelines effectively.
  • Advise on design changes and ensure quality standards.
  • Follow QA/QC procedures and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • B.E. in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in Singapore/Malaysia projects.
  • Proven experience in building services design across various sectors.
  • Experience as a Project Engineer on multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Knowledge of electrical principles and standards (BS-EN, NEC, CIBSE, NFPA).
  • Understanding of local regulations and submission requirements.
  • Skill in manual and software-based calculations.
  • Proficiency with LV power modeling software, lighting design tools, and AutoCAD/Revit.
  • Knowledge of BIM and sustainable design practices.
  • Personal qualities: self-motivated, team-oriented, adaptable, and deadline-driven.
