Job summary

Advanced Semiconductor Academy Sdn Bhd seeks a Senior EDA & Semiconductor Systems Engineer to manage EDA tools, license servers and the lab infrastructure in Cyberjaya. You will support Linux/Windows servers, network access, and security while enabling IC design and semiconductor projects.

This role requires hands-on experience with major EDA platforms and a strong background in semiconductor R&D environments, working closely with academic and industry teams to align curricula and labs with

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant technical experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.
Experience in semiconductor/IC design/EDA environment preferred.
Hands-on experience with at least one major EDA platform (Synopsys, Cadence or Siemens).
Experience managing or supporting EDA license servers is highly preferred.
Good knowledge of Linux environments and engineering servers.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot semiconductor EDA tools and license servers.
Manage EDA license servers, license files and user access.
Monitor license utilization and coordinate renewals, upgrades and vendor support.
Support curriculum development, student labs and industry projects.
Provide technical input to ensure training content reflects industry practices.
Act as senior technical resource and TA for advanced programs.
Coordinate with external vendors for infrastructure requirements.
