About the role

At CK Building Solutions Sdn Bhd, we are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer or Design Engineer to join our team in Selangor. This is a full-time opportunity to play a key role in the design and development of innovative building solutions. As a member of our engineering department, you will work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and development of civil and structural engineering plans and specifications
• Conduct structural analyses and design calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of building structures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to resolve design challenges
• Review and approve design drawings and documentation
• Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team during the implementation phase
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry standards, building codes, and engineering best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related engineering field
• Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in civil/structural engineering design, preferably in the construction industry
• Proficient in using engineering design and analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD & etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and engineering standards
• Commitment to producing high-quality work and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Able to produce and compile complete design calculation reports
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Prefer Chinese for coordinate with China Client
