Job summary

Luxoft in Kuala Lumpur invites a versatile Data Solutions Engineer to support the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and engineering to analytics, visualization, and API enablement. You will combine data engineering fundamentals with stakeholder collaboration to build reporting solutions and drive cross-domain data initiatives.

Role may rotate among Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization depending on project priorities, with exposure to Data Science and AI use cases as a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills with data engineering focus.
• Hands-on with Databricks/Spark and Azure data services.
• Experience delivering reporting solutions and dashboards.
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and translate needs.
• Exposure to Data Science/AI use cases is an asset.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a versatile Data Solutions Engineer capable of supporting the complete data lifecycle, from data ingestion and engineering to analytics, visualization, and API enablement.
The ideal candidate combines strong Data Engineering fundamentals with the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, develop reporting solutions, and contribute across multiple data-related initiatives. Exposure to Data Science and AI use cases is considered an advantage.
This role requires a flexible mindset, as the engineer may rotate between Data Engineering, Data Analytics, and Data Visualization initiatives depending on project priorities.
