Job summary

Cognite invites a Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team pushing the boundaries of industrial data. In this role, you will design scalable data pipelines on Cognite Data Fusion, tackle data integrations, and deliver solutions for customers in energy, manufacturing, and utilities.

Collaborate with data scientists, solution architects, and project managers to deploy and optimize digital solutions that drive business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing data-intensive role.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines with Python, SQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience with distributed computing (Kubernetes) and cloud services (GCP/Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions on Cognite Data Fusion.
• Drive integrations, data modeling, and analysis using connectors and Python/Java/REST APIs.
• Collaborate with data scientists, project managers and solution architects to deliver data products.
• Review code and promote best practices for high-quality software.
• Support customers and partners in data engineering tasks with Cognite products.
• Contribute to development of Cognite’s SDKs and tools.
• Work with Engineering and Product Management to translate customer needs into product priorities.
