Job summary

Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is expanding its data engineering team at the Penang facility, focusing on data warehousing, ETL, and analytics for the final test facility in Batu Kawan. You will collaborate with local and international teams to build data pipelines, ensure data quality, and deliver secure, scalable IT solutions that support Lean Manufacturing and enterprise reporting.

A strong background in IT/Data Analytics and a drive to innovate in semiconductor data engineering will help

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT/Computer Engineering or related data analytics field.
At least 3 years of Data Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry.
Strong SQL, ETL, and data pipeline design skills; proficiency in data quality.

Responsibilities

Establish and sustain an efficient Data Warehouse and Data Integration for data analytics.
Build and manage data pipelines across local and international teams.
Ensure high data quality and reliability for data analysis and continuous improvement.
Install, maintain, and improve ETL software and visualization reports.
Ensure data security per Bosch data security requirements.
Support Lean Manufacturing and digitalization initiatives.
Train and mentor team members in Data Engineering and Data Warehouse.
