Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Group AG is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to join Sales Planning. You will lead end-to-end data engineering, pipelines and Power BI initiatives, coordinating vendors and global teams.

The role combines hands-on engineering with project leadership, requires Azure, PySpark, SQL, and strong stakeholder management; you will drive delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Must-have 5-7+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data engineering and Power BI initiatives.
• Design and maintain Azure-based data pipelines and data lake storage.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Coordinate external vendors and manage delivery with stakeholders.
• Guide teams in Agile/Scrum environments and manage JIRA workflows.
• Ensure secure Azure implementations with Entra ID and Key Vault.
