Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, with emphasis on Databricks, ADLS, Data Factory, and Power BI.
You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, build robust data pipelines using SQL and Python, and ensure secure identity integration with Entra ID/AAD, while supporting CI/CD with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering.
- Power BI
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- SQL
- Python
- GitHub
- Agile Scrum & JIRA
- Experience with Azure DevOps Pipeline / GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of general API integration/consumption.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and manage data processing solutions using Azure Databricks.
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Work with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) and Azure data services.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Work with SQL and Python for data processing and analysis.
- Integrate data platforms with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory.
- Work with Azure Key Vault for secure key and secret management.
- Collaborate with technical teams using GitHub, Agile Scrum, and JIRA.
