Campbell Malaysia is the Regional Hub for The Arnott’s Group Asia Business Unit. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the organization leads the strategy & direction to ensure that The Arnott’s Group has a geographical footprint across Total Asia.
Campbell Malaysia also supports the region by supplying locally manufactured and marketed brands such as Campbell’s soup, Prego pasta sauces as well as Kimball & Cheong Chan sauces. Asia’s extended range of consumer food brands also include TST, Swanson, GoodTime & Nyam Nyam.
They join the The Arnott’s Group portfolio of brands like Aussie legends Tim Tam & Shapes as well as New Zealand’s favorite Farm Bake Cookies to drive presence in Asia.
Position based in Kuching.
Job Responsibilities:
(a) Trade Execution & Activation
- Plan, monitor, and track trade execution to ensure excellence, including monthly trade and branch visits with constructive feedback.
- Coordinate and track execution of marketing campaigns, NPDs, promotions, POS materials, and trade events.
- Customize national trade programs for East Malaysia and develop regional trade initiatives and short-term tactical promotions.
- Evaluate and review the effectiveness of trade activations and promotional campaigns using data-driven insights
(b) In-Store Excellence & 5P Strategy Execution
- Implement and oversee the execution of the 5P strategy (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, Presentation) to drive brand objectives across the path to purchase.
- Ensure optimal product placement, pricing, promotion, and presentation to maximize consumer engagement and sales.
(c) Distributor & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate, coordinate, and track with distributors to ensure smooth implementation of NPDs, promotions, and trade activations in East Malaysia.
- Ensure timely communication and completion of bulletin plans between TAG and distributor teams:
- Share bulletin plans one quarter in advance.
- Obtain distributor feedback at least two months before the activity month.
- Prepare and deliver promotional presentations and communications to sales operations and business partners in a timely manner.
(d) Reporting & Insights
- Prepare and submit monthly sales and tracking reports to the Head of GT - East Malaysia.
- Analyze sales and marketing activities to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
(e) Trade Claims Management
- Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate submission of trade claims to HQ, maintaining compliance with internal processes.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or similar qualification.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in sales / marketing demonstrating an ability to understand sales and trade marketing operation
- Required skill(s): MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and able to interact effectively at all levels
- Excellent team player and possess leadership skills
- Ability to work within constraint lead time and resources. Tasks needs to be out the timely manner in order for promotion plans take place.
- Ability to work closely with field salespeople in coordinating and ensuring smooth implementation sales plan.
- Willing to travel outstation.
