Job summary

Randstad is seeking a seasoned FRM Manager to lead a diverse range of risk management projects within their Kuala Lumpur Center of Excellence. You will deliver technical analyses in areas including Financial Modelling, Basel compliance, ICAAP, and hedge accounting, while guiding a growing team of associates and seniors.

In this leadership role you will drive client relationships, contribute to business development, and uphold the firm’s ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Accounting & Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial risk management in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Domain expertise in Financial Modelling, Basel II/III, ICAAP, Stress Testing, Finance & Treasury, Hedge Accounting, and instrument valuations.
• Strong Excel/VBA skills; familiarity with SAS, Python, and R is advantageous.
• Leadership, analytical mindset, strong communication, and adherence to professional ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex FRM projects across multiple client engagements.
• Provide strategic advisory using advanced analytics and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with clients.
• Follow risk management and compliance processes, handling data responsibly to improve risk frameworks.
• Mentor and develop a team of associates and seniors, fostering a high-performance environment.
• Prepare and review detailed client reports and documentation, communicating complex risk concepts clearly.
• Support business development through proposals and client pitches.
